Skate Canada's NEW

STAR 1

Cypress School of Skating is very excited to implement Skate Canada's new STAR program. This program gives the opportunity for skaters who show an interest and/or ability in figure skating to pursue the learning of new skills.

STAR 1 is designed to fit between our existing CanSkate and STARSkate programming, to aid in the technical development of young skaters. Skaters are encouraged to acquire a skill set that will allow them to reach the highest level of proficiency that their unique talent and commitment will allow. The volume of training in the STAR 1 stage may not be any greater than others, but the range of skill acquired and personal growth attained is substantial.
